Tokyo, Japan (March 18, 2026) – Polygon Pictures Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Shuzo Shiota) is proud to announce that it will handle the animation production for the upcoming TV anime series, TANK CHAIR-戦車椅子-.

TANK CHAIR is based on the acclaimed manga by Manabu Yashiro, currently serialized in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Sirius. This violent, action-thriller with its formidable dark hero has captivated fans worldwide, surpassing a cumulative total of 1 million copies in print. Polygon Pictures is set to bring this intense world to life through high-end animation.

The series features a distinguished creative team. Tadahiro Yoshihira ( Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 – The Bird of Paradise, Knights of Sidonia: Love Woven in the Stars) will serve as director and screenwriter. Joining him is Hiroaki Ando (Kaina of the Great Snow Sea , Ajin: Demi-Human), also serving as director and screenwriter.

In conjunction with this announcement, a teaser trailer has been released. The video showcases the fusion of Polygon Pictures’ signature high-quality action with the series’ unique pop aesthetic, all set to a soundtrack composed by Masaru Yokoyama (Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, Mashle: Magic and Muscles).
