Polygon Pictures (“PPI,” President and CEO: Shuzo Shiota, Head Office: Tokyo, Japan) is proud to announce that it will be handling the animation production for the upcoming original anime series Maiden Blood, slated for release in 2027.

A completely original anime series brought to life by the combined talents of Seiji Kishi, Makoto Uezu, LAM, and Polygon Pictures, Maiden Blood is a dark fantasy action series set in a world ravaged by demons, where relentless battles fought by blood warriors unfold.

Directing the project is Seiji Kishi, known for works such as Blue Orchestra, Assassination Classroom, and Classroom of the Elite. Series composition is handled by Makoto Uezu, known for works such as Yuki Yuna is a Hero, God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World!, and Kengan Ashura. The characters’ original designs are crafted by popular illustrator LAM, and the music is provided by the members of the creator collective MONACA – Keiichi Okabe, Kuniyuki Takahashi, and Taichi Jouraku.

Alongside a teaser visual depicting the series’ dark world, a teaser PV has been unveiled showcasing the fierce battle between the mysterious sisters Eva (CV: Iori Saeki) and Epica (CV: Yukari Anzai).

We invite the audience to look forward to the vivid battle scenes born from the fusion of Polygon Pictures’ stunning visual craftsmanship and beautifully designed characters based on LAM’s original concept.
