Polygon Pictures: Unlocking the Future of CG Animation
Presenting a Free Public Lecture at Tohoku University of Art & Design!

Polygon Pictures Inc. ("PPI," President and CEO: Shuzo Shiota, Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo) is proud to announce a public lecture to be presented at the Tohoku University of Art & Design: Sendai School.

Students and members of the general public are invited to attend "Polygon Pictures: Unlocking the Future of CG Animation," a free lecture led by PPI President Shuzo Shiota. Shiota will discuss PPI's corporate strategy with regard to the digital content industry's exciting future amid the growing importance of digital media for movies, video games and smartphones.

Shuzo Shiota

Shiota was appointed President and CEO of Polygon Pictures in 2003. Under his leadership PPI has been commissioned to produce several overseas TV series and has developed content targeted at the foreign market, thereby contributing to Japan's increasing pride in its digital content industry. In 2008, Shiota was selected as one of the "25 Toon Titans of Asia" by popular industry publication Animation Magazine.
