Announcing Spoon Tan Tan Tan
The Newest “Genki Genki Nontan” DVD on Sale Soon
Produced and Funded by Polygon Pictures Inc.

Polygon Pictures ("PPI," President and CEO: Shuzo Shiota, Head Office: Tokyo, Japan) is proud to announce the release of Spoon Tan Tan Tan (Nontan’s Magic Spoon), the newest title in the popular "Genki Genki Nontan" DVD series, which goes on sale in April 2013. The project is co-funded with ITOCHU Corporation (President & CEO: Masahiro Okafuji, Head Office: Tokyo, Japan) and Nippon Columbia Co., Ltd. (Representative Director/President and COO: Yasuharu Hara, Head Office: Tokyo, Japan), with animation by PPI.

"Genki Genki Nontan” is a 3D CG animated series based on the popular Nontan picture books (Publisher: Kaisei-sha Ltd.) by Sachiko Kiyono. The upcoming DVD is the tenth entry in this series. It includes animated versions of four of Kiyono's picture books, an unreleased story called Nontan Ohirune Goro Goro (Nontan's Roly-Poly Naptime), and a sing-along segment. This DVD is the first in the series to be presented in a 16:9 aspect ratio. Other highlights include a brand-new opening sequence, as well as the special ending featuring a rock band performance by Nontan and his friends. We hope this DVD will become a beloved addition for young fans of the series who look forward to following the adventures of their happy-go-lucky friend Nontan.

PPI is proud to include inspiring, quality children's programming like the "Genki Genki Nontan" series among the diverse range of genres that our studio produces.
