The film generated massive buzz as Japan’s first audience-participatory “interactive film” for a theatrical movie, becoming a huge hit that surpassed 2.8 billion yen in box office revenue and 1.13 million in audience attendance (as of April 2026). The outcome of the rap battles unfolding on screen is determined by participatory voting conducted via app in the audience’s smartphones. With a total of 5 voting rounds during the screening, there are 48 unique story paths and 7 different endings available.
