Established a new joint venture studio, Silver Ant PPI Sdn. Bhd., in Malaysia.

Participated in our first international co-production, "Muybridge's Strings" directed by Koji Yamamura.

Headquarters relocated to Minami Azabu, Minato-ku, Tokyo, to accommodate our company's growth.

Headquarters relocated to Minami Azabu, Minato-ku, Tokyo.

Shuzo John Shiota serves as the first Japanese judge for SIGGRAPH (through 2005).

Company celebrates 20th anniversary.

Shuzo John Shiota assumes position as CEO.

Participated in production of Walt Disney Pictures' "Valiant," a 3DCG film for worldwide release.

2002

Headquarters relocated to Shin Okubo, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo.

2001

Entered management contract with AniManagement (USA) and began full-scale expansion into the U.S. market.

2000

Began production on the fully CG-animated TV series "Mr. Digital Tokoro" (total 245 episodes), and established a pipeline based on the complete division of labor.

Company celebrates 15th anniversary.

1995

Polygon's original characters, the rockhopper penguins Rocky and Hopper, make their debut in a TV commercial; toys, clothing, and other merchandise featuring the characters are sold.

1993

Company celebrates 10th anniversary.

Michael the dinosaur appears in a TV commercial and becomes the first CG media personality with a television contract.

1989

PPI's work was presented for the first time at SIGGRAPH 89, the world's largest CG conference.

Developed MESOZOIC, a state-of-the-art CG software application that supports skeletons.

1987

Headquarters relocated to Higashi Shinagawa, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo.
